What is realistically the best substitute for alcohol?
I decided I’m not drinking alcohol anymore. What would be the best substitute? Not looking to get really intoxicated, just something that takes the edge off in high stress situations if I ever need it or that can help me get to sleep at night. I’ve had on and off insomnia in the past; it’s mostly gone now and it’s completely related to stress. Anything I can take before bed that will help me relax?
THC makes me paranoid and stressed and I don’t like it. I’m thinking of trying CBD and see what results I get. Don’t want to get into using nicotine either. Want the substance to be relatively healthy, at least compared to alcohol.
Again, it doesn’t have to be exactly like alcohol, just good enough to help me calm down at night if I’m feeling too anxious.
