Kahlua is weaker
So the Mexicans “stepped on” our Kahlúa in Canada. Canada and the UK are the only two countries where Kahlúa went from 20% ABV to 16%. The change is drastic. The little burn is gone from the sip and you can now gulp it.
When the US was still our friend and we travelled there, we’d bring back some of the good 20% stuff.

Kahlúa is a rum liqueur.
For every 100ml of 16% Kahlúa, add 20ml of 40% rum. The result is 120ml of 20% Kahlúa. It tastes the same and the burn is back. You’re welcome!😁
