Do alot of people get alot of energie from alcohol

maybe a dumb question but alot of my friends get drowsie from alcohol, yet I get alot of energie. I dont mean I get hyper from it but alot of nights im dead tired at around 19:oo to the point im almost falling asleep, but then I start drinkiing with my friend and I stay up to sometimes 07:00. Also alot of times (like tonight) if we finnish early I’ll continue staying awake till later on my own. Does anyone elso have this. Also I generally get alot of energie at night but when I dirnk its much more.
