Why can’t I drink?

So basically I’ve never been able to drink any kind of alcoholic drink without gagging and HATING the taste. Even a fruity seltzer tastes awful to me. I hate beer cheese soup because I swear I taste the beer and just hate it. I want to be able to casually drink with friends without gagging and literally having to force it. Has anyone ever met someone like this? I can’t drink a beer, take a shot, drink a mixed drink because everything with alcohol just tastes awful to me.
