Why am I intolerant to specific kinds of alcohol?

I just turned 21, and I don’t drink often, but I’ve noticed some intolerances I have. I can drink vodka, rum, soju, and hard seltzers with no problem, but even a drop of beer or tequila and my nose gets stuffed up and my face gets flushed. Is there some specific specific in those that I’m intolerant to? I feel like I’m playing russian roulette every time I try a new drink.
