Is a takeout soup container a good substitute for a decanter bottle?

Hello! I’m planning on making blackberry gin, but aside from the ingredients I don’t really have the money to buy a big glass bottle to decant it in. It’ll be an iinfusion, so nothing should be fermenting (at least as i understand it). Would using a plastic takeout container be all that different from a regular bottle or mason jar, assuming its thoroughly washed and disinfected?
