First time drinking, what’s a good starter to actually feel it?

Hello, I’m 23 and have never had alcohol before. I’d like to finally try it, but I don’t want to go overboard. Are there any good beginner-friendly drinks I can find at Walmart? Ideally, something that isn’t too bitter. Thanks!.
