physically unable to drink alcohol
Hey guys, I wanted to come on this subreddit and share my problem. About a year ago I drank for the first time, and I drank a few small cups of wine, and a few shots of ouzo (Greek vodka)I didn’t drink that much in terms of my weight but I was definitely drunk. The next day I was throwing up severely all day and unable to keep even a sip of liquid/small bite of food down and had to get anti vomiting medicine, and even then it was still not a good feeling. Fast forward to recently, I tried drinking again and had the tiniest sip to try my friend’s White Claw, and immediately spit it out because the feeling/taste of alcohol made me want to hurl over. Today, I tried to swallow a sip of wine and immediately spit it out as well. It seems that after my first time drinking my body is completely rejecting alcohol. Has this happened to anybody else? I’ve heard of people getting wasted their first time but they still continue to drink. It’s like my body just will not let me drink anymore. I am a young adult and I want to be able to drink in the future for social reasons, and this is worrying me a bit.
