I’m trying to lose weight so I have an odd question

About a year ago now I went through a devastating break up—I was finishing a fifth of vodka a day for 6 months (I’m not proud of it it was a very dark time)—and I ended up gaining a lot of weight. When I started I weighed 115lbs maybe 110lbs. By January I weighed 160.

I decided to take an incentive on cutting back my daily alcohol intake and I managed to get it down to a Tall Natty Daddy (25 oz 8%) and a Icehouse (24 oz 5.5%) and I was good on that until I realized an Icehouse was almost double Natty Daddy’s calories with less reward.

While I should’ve cut down and swapped the Icehouse for a lighter beer I just decided to start drinking 2 Natty Daddys since it was cheaper and more rewarding to do so. I lost 10lbs off my 160 and for months I’ve just been sitting on 150. No matter how much I eat (usually less than a thousand calories) or exercise my weight stays the exact same.

(Sorry for the long post) But my takeaway is, if I were to switch over to the 12 oz 8% Nattys they sell as a 15 pack for $10 would I start losing that weight because my daily calorie intake is significantly lower—181 Calories Per can Vs 380—my logic is that I’d end up just as buzzed if not drunk drinking 2 12oz because they contain the same amount of pure alcohol and you’re likely to finish one much faster. Would I see an improvement?
