How long does each individual (standard drink) take to kick in?

If I take 4 shots within an hour; let’s say, each spaced out 10-15 minutes. Do all 4 hit me within the hour, or does each individual drink take an hour to kick in?

I see people saying if I take 4-5 shots each spaced out 15 minutes, then at the 60 min mark, all shots will hit. Testing it out, it doesn’t *really* feel like that. I would like thoughts from others.
