Jägermeister Taste hate?

I know this might sound crazy but Jägermeister is my favorite alcohol entirely, and I only drink it straight and have never had it mixed, my friends and people at work all collectively hate Jägermeister and im curious as to why people hate it so much? I absolutely love the taste and again have never mixed it ever. am I just weird?
