Drinking at Restaurant vs Home
I’ve noticed that when I drink whiskey at home, it’s completely different from drinking when I’m out.
Same stuff usually. This is an Old Fashioned with Buffalo Trace. At home, I usually drink Buffalo Trace, Knob Creek or Makers Mark. Just last night I had a glass of Knob Creek, more straight whiskey than what’s in this drink. I drank the whole glass and didn’t feel anything. I come to this restaurant and get an old fashioned, and I’m feeling it after two sips. I’m leaning against a railing near the bar and feel like the whole bar is on a boat, rocking with the waves (I spent all day on a boat today from 8-5, but have been off it for 3 hours and have been fine until now).
Idk I just notice this every time I drink when I’m out to compared to at home and wanted to know if there’s a science behind it. Thanks
