Alcohol for type 1

My grandmother is a diabetic, and I want to look for something we can enjoy together. I have googled some things, and it looks like wine is my best bet? She likes white wine but I dont know ANYTHING about wine. I’m into rum. Anyone like any wines with low sugar? She cannot have hard stuff. Hurts her stomach. (I apologize if this is the wrong sub for this. Questions like this seemed to be a no no for diabetic subreddits.)
