First time drinking, can’t feel it?

Hi guys,

I’m 18 years old and I’ve just had my first drink, I’ve been on sertraline for depression and anxiety for a few years now and I didn’t want to drink while medicated.

As I mentioned, I tried drinking for the first time and I didn’t really feel much at all to be honest. I drunk a lot compared to all my friends and I was far less drunk than they were. I had about 3 desperados, a few ciders and random drinks then about 10 shots of disaronno and another 6 ish shots worth of vodka in one night. I felt slightly dizzy but other than that I felt completely normal and apparently everyone couldn’t even tell that I had drunk anything.

Should I be concerned by this? I’m assuming my medication has reduced the affects of the alcohol but I am also 6’6″ and 125kg so I have no idea if my size makes a difference.

Sorry if this post sounds a bit odd but my friends were commenting on how they were concerned as I didn’t seem affected.
