Long term alcohol consumption, now getting sick from small doses

PUKE WARNING

Not necessarily looking for medical advice so please don’t take my post down.

21F I have been drinking pretty steadily the past 3 years (I live in wisconsin so pretty normal) recently i’ve been getting extreme acid reflux from alcohol and only alcohol.

Tonight I was playing a little valorant while drinking my beatbox, about 1 drink in I ended up coughing so hard I puked a little in my mouth and had to spit it out. I also can’t drink vodka cranberries anymore because they immediately make me experience acid relfux and I have to puke to relieve it, it only started about 2 weeks ago, before this I could have 3 double shot drinks and be fine.

I’m mainly just wondering if this happens to anyone else, if I have to slow down or if this means I might have holes in my esophagus. Just wondering if anyone experienced the same and if they could give me insight into what is happening.

To be clear though, I drink fairly often, however not addicted, i’ve had to stop drinking for multiple occasions such as antibiotics, being poor and so on, just wanna make that clear, I enjoy getting drunk and playing video games or hanging out with people.
