Good whiskey to try?

This is a weird question but is there any whiskey people can recommend me that might be a good choice for me?
Just some background I literally can not stomach whiskey for some reason. One of the main ones that I can’t stomach is makers mark, it’s not even the taste it’s like my body just rejects it after one glass of it. I can handle fireball and Jim bean apple but i want something that is just the whiskey flavor. I haven’t tried many others though just given my bar experiences with it. So any whiskeys anyone can recommend for me to try my luck with?
