How common are Drinking Chants in other cultures?

In my culture (Sweden) it’s very common to sing a little song or do a little rhyme before drinking a shot. I guess it comes from the tradition of singing a snapsvisa before drinking a snaps, but it left me wondering: How common is it in other cultures?
