which method is best for jell-o shots?

making jell-o shots and I’m seeing different recipes and want to know what’s best: using a standard 3.4 oz box of jello, and using unflavored vodka.

Should I use the 1/2 cup of cold water & 1/2 of vodka method, or should I replace all the water with 1 cup of vodka?

Never made these before so I’m not sure how strong they turn out. What recipe should I go with?
