Can i drink alcohol after stopping xnanx?

I used to take 0.25/0.5 mg for a month every night to sleep and i stopped 3 days ago because i was scared of being dependent on them to go to sleep, there’s a birthday party i am going to in 5 days, is it okay if i drink 2-3 beers? I won’t drink too much neither because i get hanganxiety the next day 🙁
