Why do I get so messed up while drinking?

I drank last night and none of my friends were as drunk as me and two of them weight significantly less then me, yet I was the most messed up and drank the least. I tried searching it up but google just talks about getting angry or sad while drunk while I was neither and isn’t my problem.
