Stained shot glass??

Hey guys, I bought a shot glass from a thrift store a few years ago. It had a purple tint to it which I assumed was just the glass color, I washed it multiple times before using. I’ve used this shot glass for many moons now, and I recently realized the purple tint is gone, the glass is completely clear now. Anyone know what it might’ve been???
