Why can’t I drink Havana Club?

I’m not an alcohol connoisseur by any metric, but I’ve had a decent amount if different types and brands. For some reason, specifically Havana Club’s Añejo Clasico absolutely KILLS me. I mean I could literally just have a shot and the next morning I wake up feeling like I got hit upside the head with a baseball bat plus have the flu. Anyone have a possible reason as to why, and if so, could you suggest what other drinks to stay away from?
