Drink ideas with sparkling water

I drink gin or tequila but mostly gin these days with lemon squeeze a bit orange juice but I think either I’m drinking way too much or too less lol cause it’s not so effective . Main question is this : does anyone to something similar with rum or cognac? No sugar lots of water so no Schweppes etc plus hate the taste
