how do I hide/notice the slur in my words when I am drunk?

I won’t deny I have a problem but I am working on it and don’t need help from reddit with it. What I do need help with is figuring out how to recognize when I am slurring words when drunk. My mom can tell when I slur words but I can’t hear it at all, is there some kinda give away or tell that I am missing or do I just need to record my self when drunk?

I can’t seem to find an answer to this online anywhere which is weird considering how common of a side effect of being drunk it is.
