Hypothetically can you drink food grade ethonol

Lets say I wanted to get a “deal” on some drinks, bought food grade ethanol 99.6% ABV and did 9 parts fanta or some shit and 10% the culinary solvent, would I have a really shitty drink that wont kill me but get me drunk?
