Would a 12 oz soda mixed with 2oz of Everclear have a very apparent alcohol burn?

Normally I would just do it and toss if I don’t like it, but I have a limited quantity of Everclear that I can only replenish by leaving the state.

Everclear doesn’t have a taste, so anything I mix it into would just taste like the thing I mixed it into, but with a burning sensation, right?

I could tolerate some burning if it dissipates quickly, but if it’s going to be an extreme or long-lasting take a breather type of burn then I won’t waste the Everclear.
