Haven’t felt the same since binge drinking.
I go to a massive SEC school and on top of that I’m in a top 3ish fraternity on campus. That being said, we tend to party a lot and hard. I unfortunately tend to only drink hard liquor because I don’t usually feel like drinking 7-9 beers to feel a slight buzz.
To give you an idea on how much alcohol I had, Thursday I killed a little more than half a L of Tito’s with my date (we shared it). Friday we had a party and I bought two packs of fireball shooters. That night I blacked out and from what I can guess I think I had about 9-12 of them. Saturday I think I recall having 3-4 shots before the game and a seltzer during. after the football game I drank an entire 375 ML of jack Daniel’s, 5-6 shots of Tito’s, and from I can remember maybe half of a tall boy high noon (blacked out later).
This is not my first time drinking this heavily. However, it is my first time drinking this heavily this many days in a row. Obviously I felt the usual nausea but the mental hangover has been apparent for the past 3 days. I have felt hungover for 3 days before but just physically, not mentally. I have felt completely out of it since Sunday morning after I woke up. It has been harder for me to process things.
My perception of time has been pretty screwed up. Things that happened earlier in the day felt like dreams or they happened yesterday. The most annoying part of all this is that it feels like there is a baseball in my brain, my head feels heavy. I feel like something with my serotonin or dopamine levels are messed up. Things I was excited about before the binge drinking I am no longer excited about or have energy for. Is this just a case of brain fog or should I seek a doctor?
