What is Neutral Alcohol

Hello,

I recently received a whiskey flavoring kit from a friend, and I wanted to try it out.

As an ingredient, it says to use neutral alcohol.

I have no idea what that means. I assume it means a spirit that does not have heavy tastes to it, so the flavoring can work. It would be great if someone can clarify this.

I also don’t know where I can buy it, I live in the Netherlands. What consumables would constitute neutral alcohol and where could I possibly buy this?
