Turning 21 next week, suggestions?

Never really been a fan of the whole idea of alcohol but my friend is insisting I at least have a shot or something on my birthday. I’m pretty sure I wanna try something fruity, but I’m honestly clueless about what I should buy. It’s just gonna be me and him most likely and he’s no help whatsoever in deciding what to get, but ik he’s not a fan of beer.

I’m mostly looking for ideas on what to try and tips on what’s good and what isn’t. Anything helps though, I’ve got no idea what I’m doing.
