Intense vivid dreams

I don’t drink, before this week I’ve actually only gotten drunk like 4-5 times ever, I used to be a heavy drug user psychedelics weed dissociatives, but have been sober from that for a while even then. Anyways, I’ve been drinking at night, 4-7 shots in total before I sleep, but I’ve just been getting drunk, watching TV, music, and interacting with friends and family as I’m an ackward person, but drunk I feel more like myself, as I don’t have those constant high levels of anxiety when i’m sober. Anyways, ever since I started doing this, and about 5 days ago i’ve been getting drunk every single night, whenever I sleep I have these INSANELy vivid intense dreams. I’ve heard it prevents rem and all that, but dude i always wake up out of these intense dreams which i completely remember and am sometimes lucid in, which is just insane to me. and it’s getting more powerful every night, as today im just disoriented because I had these insane dreams, was woken up, went back to sleep to another insane vivid dream, woke up again, into another vivid dream after falling asleep, and this repeated twice more. The dreams are connected to my emotions and subconscious, but even then why the fuck am I having these dreams which are so much more intense and vivid from when I was sober, especially because alcohol prevents rem, and this never happened to me when I was smoking weed everyday months ago.
