How long after taking Xanax can I drink alcohol?

I just got swapped from 2mg XR to 2mg instant release I only drink on the weekends when I don’t have work the next day. I’ve been okay with taking my 2mg XR in the morning and drinking starting at 8pm. I only drink at home and drink the airplane minis so I make sure I only drink 8. I weigh 208 active at the gym and am usually extremely well hydrated. So I took my first half earlier at 8am and the second half at noon. I’ve had breakfast lunch and dinner. So should I be able to drink at 8pm still? I know these aren’t professional opinions but I come to reddit for everything and just need a little insight. Thanks for the help in advance
