Lost my sense of taste for more than a day after drinking too much

Hello, i have a problem rn. I lost my sense of taste after drinking with the boys yesterday. We did what’s called a “Washing machine”. The challenge is to take into your mouth 6Cl of a strong french alcohol called “Pastis” and you keep it in your mouths as long as possible. I lasted 8 minutes in total while my friend puked after a minute. Firstly i felt pain like him, then, nothing. And now i lost my sense of taste. Also i did it 2 times so i drank 12Cl of that pure Pastis (which is meant to be drank with a lot of water). Do you think i completely fried my taste buds for more than a week or will i be fine in another day? Sorry for my poor english. Thanks.
