what is the best sake/soju?

I’ve been into drinking for a few years now and am trying to expand the different types of alcohol I enjoy drinking, and have been recommended to try some foreign types of alcohol such as soju and sake by some friends, was wondering about any good brand recommendations? I’ve never tried soju or sake before. any good first time recommendations?
