all of a sudden getting hungover
i started drinking properly when i was about 18. had many nights of drinking many double vodkas, beers, ciders, shots etc all in the same night when i was 18-20. rarely ever got a hangover. these would be nights where i was drinking A LOT. and mixing drinks. i’d throw up whilst out occasionally but the next day most i’d have was a light headache and feeling a bit tired.
i’m 21 now and these days i manage about 3 double vodkas and i’m throwing up the next day. on my graduation night i had two pints of henry weston’s (8% cider) and threw up the next morning and felt so nauseous for hours. i get like this pretty much every time i drink now. i usually go out drinking once a week sometimes i drink more than others but never anything excessive. however i am drinking more frequently these days than i used to. this all started before i was going out once a week however and was going out to drink once every two or three weeks.
i’m wondering why i’m getting these horrible hangovers now? although i’m drinking more frequently these days, i’m drinking less on nights out and avoid mixing different drinks. plus this problem started before i started going out drinking more. i thought with age i’d get less hangovers not more. is this normal?
