Naltrexone question…

I was prescribed Naltrexone awhile ago because I talked to a doc about wanting to cut down on drinking. Does anyone know if it is okay (and safe) to pause Naltrexone for a day, drink, and then continue the next day?

I really just want to curb the cravings throughout the week while I’m at work but then imbibe when I am off.

I do have a doctors appointment soon so I’ll obviously ask a professional when I get the chance but I wanted to see if anyone could provide advice now so I can decide if I even want to take it.
