What are some currently popular alcohol’s?

I’m a 28 year old who doesn’t drink at all. On August 4th I’m throwing a BBQ / Party and I wanna know what are the cool kids drinking these days? I’m out of the loop. Also for reference this will be a bunch of 25 – 35 year olds. I state that because I know preferences can significantly vary between age groups.
P.S: Preferably something that isn’t gonna break the bank, but all recommendations welcome.
