Alcohol and maybe acid reflux

Week ago i drank vodka with zero sugar sprite. It was probably the best drunk i had in a while and didnt feel nauseous at all. Yesterday i drank vodka with regular sprite with sugar and felt nauseous and felt like i could vomit. Why is that? And is this acid reflux or something else.
