How long after a night of heavy drinking can I take Nyquil/Dayquil?

Title – I’m 5’8 150 lbs. Last night, I had several larger glasses of gin and soda. This morning, I’ve woken up with a sore throat, and pretty bad congestion. I am extremely cautious of acetaminophen, as mixing alcohol and Tylenol killed my grandmother. How long should I wait until taking any cold medication after heavy drinking the night before?
