How is weed a schedule 1 drug and alcohol isn’t?
I didn’t know where else to post this honestly. I don’t understand how weed can be considered a schedule 1 drug ( definition being drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse), and then alcohol is just legal. Alcohol has caused so many more problems in my life whether it’s with relationships or just my own personal use. I smoke weed and I have no issues but I drink and the whole world comes crashing down. People I know drink and the same thing happens but they smoke and life is good. Why is this? Why is something so potent just accepted in our society but something minor isn’t when it has medical benefits? It’s so fucking weird and frustrating. I’m an alcoholic and I strongly believe alcohol should be illegal, I also smoke weed but I see no problem in that as weed has caused no problems but alcohol has. Weed isn’t addictive, but alcohol can cause you to have deadly withdrawals. It’s just fucking weird, confusing, and frustrating…
What’s yalls thoughts and opinions on this?
