Why does red wine provide a better buzz than any liquor ?

Wine : brings the feeling of euphoria, coziness, out of this world feeling, and soon sleepiness.

Liquor: brings euphoria, and sleepiness if you drink too much . Thats it..

Can anyone relate ??
