What are some good/simple beginner mixtures I can make with my girlfriend?

We wanted to have a little date night at our house and were looking for some drinks we could maybe try making together.

We aren’t looking for anything in particular just something simple we could go to the store and grab then come back and make.

if it’s any consolation i’m into Sprite, Dr. Pepper, Pepsi and minute made fruit punch. She likes cranberry juice and root beer.
