Why the fuck does beer hurt so much

I usually drink hard liqour but whenever I drink beer my stomach gets big and hurts sooo fucking much, so much that it ruins the drunkness and I just roll around in bed in pain until I sleep. What the fuck?? Is it the carbonation? It makes me feel soo full.
