Trying to understand what this is – severe cramps around lower back to legs

I (30M) am a weird drinker. I often go 2-3 weeks without drinking, and when I drink, I do for anywhere between 2-3 days a week continuously. On those days, I might drink 7-12 drinks in a single sitting. This routine has been happening since a year.

I also run 6-8k a day, and do some intermediate weightlifting (80kg squats/90kg dead lifts).

1 week ago, after a heavy drinking day, I woke up with severe lightning like pain waist down to the calves. Both legs, both sides. It stops when I lie down, and starts again when in certain positions or standing. Stretching and weightlifting kinda fixed it back. Pain is momentary, and intermittent. Like it will strike one time, nothing for 15s, then another bolt of lightning, then nothing. Pain is usually 6/10-7/10.

Is this pain alcoholic myopathy/neuropathy? Anything alcohol related? Or is it just a posture thing? I do lie down and work from home. Instead of sitting on chair/table.
