Could I be allergic to alcohol?

I’m a 26 year old female and I don’t drink often, maybe a couple times every few months. I’ve had no problem with alcohol until the past year or so.

Last night I was at a bar with some friends watching a show and had two small vodka crans (probably 1 per hour). 5 minutes after I finished the second drink I felt dizzy, my hearing got muffled and my vision started going black and had to sit down. It only got worse and by the time I got to the bathroom door I could only see black and vomited A LOT. I was completely fine after but it was so weird. I didn’t even feel buzzed from the drinks I had so it’s not like I was blackout drunk or anything. I also know that my drink wasn’t spiked. Prior to going out we ate at a middle eastern shawarma place that had a lot of garlic so maybe it upset my stomach? Everyone else was totally fine though :/

Way earlier in the year I had two episodes that put me off from drinking for a while, but I chalked it up to drinking too many different things. However I never vomited until the morning or way later in the night. This is the first time I had such an immediate reaction.

Could it be the food? Am I just intolerant to alcohol? It sucks because I really just want to have a good time at parties/bars but I’m so scared of the potential consequences lol
