Anyone had hand/finger numbness before?

I relapsed week ago and drank week straight very heavily until got into delirium and went ER(scariest experience ever and withdrawal was a hell). Well after getting sober my pinky and finger next to it is numb and getting stingy when contracting elbow. Doctor said its probably nerve damage from alcohol and might be permament. Which is pretty scary and makes me panic as when i dont drink im very healthy and going to gym 5-6 times week. Makes me absolutely depressed and im even scared to go gym with such diagnosis. Right now im taking B1 vitamin 100mg 3 times a day and stopped drinking, i hope forever.

Have anyone ever had something similar and when it went away if it did?
