Is it normal to not feel drunk at a high BAC?

I get dizzy and that’s about it. Cognitively I’m still with it unless I get into a full on stupor. In fact, I’m drunk as I write this. I used a BAC calculator and .25% is supposedly a lot, however I don’t feel any enjoyment, impairment of motor skill, bad reaction times or decision making skills, I just feel like I spun around for a few minutes. If you feel like calculating yourself, I weigh 285lbs at 6’1″, I ate dinner a few hours ago, and I drank ~13oz of 47% Kraken spiced rum in the span of 10 min. I feel like I should be drunker than I am but I’m not, and I don’t drink particularly that much. I just don’t feel that different minus a little dizzyness. It’s been about an hour since I drank and my peak is gone already, but it was hardly a “peak”. Did I calculate my BAC wrong? Is it okay to drink more next time I go out or am I just destined to not actually feel the lightness others feel? I’ve been black out vomit drunk once or twice before and I had to drink a lot to get there, and I mean a lot. I’m not experienced with alcohol and I don’t really drink unless I’m with buddies so I don’t do much research other than what BAC is and a few calculator websites. Any advice is appreciated!
