Champagne

Ok so I’m not old enough to drink yet but I need to know. Is champagne good? I’ve asked my parents and they say it’s meh but I need a broader understanding. Maybe the sparkling apple juice I’ve had from Walmart and the fault in our stars has made me think champagne would be great but something tells me that champagne would be fantastic. My dad agrees with that and said that you definitely would expect it to be good and he said “It’s almost like a bubbly beer” but I know beer is already carbonated (which was shocking for me to discover) and my mother says it’s almost like a mix between beer and wine. So if anybody knows and is willing to tell me please do.
