Stomach issue

Hey all,

I’m new to this reddit thing but can’t find other things from real people so I’m trying here.

I know I’m an alcoholic. I’m functioning. I drink sleep, about 4-10 drinks a night for four years now #pandemicstarter. I know it isn’t good, it’s my coping. I know I need to stop. That’s not why im here so please don’t respond with that.

My question isn’t about sobriety necessarily. I know I need that. But for here I’m looking to see if others have gastro issues like I do.

I have a family history of gallbladder issues. I got an ultrasound and even a HIDA test and all say my liver is ok and my gallbladder is functioning a little lesser but “not enough for these symptoms to be a reason to remove it.” I also have a hiatal hernia that a gastro found last year in an endoscopy but refused to fix/operate because I’m “overweight and should change my diet first,”…I eat very little. It’s why my metabolism sucks. It’s not because I binge etc. Felt like fat phobia froma skinny pretty white dude.

I have had right upper abdomen pain for 11 months now. When I got the ultrasound a few weeks ago it was SO PAINFUL from the pressure, I was nauseous and couldn’t eat for hours or it would come back up…rare for me to have any vomiting like that.

Has anyone had symptoms like this? &TMI about bowels next* I don’t have regular bowel movements. I have regular at start of day then like 2-4 loose stools that sometimes have gallstones in them. I’m just so confused because my levels came back ok for the most part after so many tests but my abdomen is so angry, anyone touching me more than a feather puts me off on my middle and upper right abdomen.

My tests were inconclusive and I can’t see my doctor for a month or a gastro for 4 months so wondering if anyone had insight here.

Thanks in advance. I’m just so lost in this and feel really helpless. Any info would be great.
