Question about alcohol being stored in steel hip flasks

I know that keeping drinks like whiskey in stainless steel hip flasks can cause them to discolour and take on a metallic taste, however that isn’t my main concern. Rather, I was concerned if this discolouration and metallic taste could be dangerous in any way, as in metal poisoning, etc.? Any answers would be appreciated
