Suddenly throwing up whenever I drink alcohol?

So I used to be able to drink like there was no tomorrow, I could take down many shots without throwing up or gagging or anything. I was able to drink however much I wanted just a few months ago.

I took a break from alcohol for about 3 months, and I tried to drink yesterday and I say try because I took a shot and immediately projectile vomited it up. That really confused me, I took another and the same thing happened. The second time I threw up there was pink/ red despite not eating anything that color in it, and I read that that indicates fresh blood so I’m kinda concerned.

Just wondering if anyone knows why this could be?
